COVID-19 Announcement

Limited Office Openings to the Public with Social Distancing Mandates

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Automated Health Systems (AHS) Child Care and Development Fund Voucher and On My Way Pre-K Eligibility Offices are conducting interviews over the phone with limited in person appointments. As more counties open to limited in person appointments, there will be a limit of only two applicants allowed in the building at one time.

Limited in-person appointments will start with Tier 1 offices on October 13th in Vanderburgh with the additional Tier 1 Counties also opening with Limited in person appointments and Walk In Appointments scheduled as follows:

We encourage families to submit all your childcare documentation electronically using our website prior to a phone or in person interview. And, to schedule these appointments also though our website, or by calling 855-533-7342.

Please note: The online appoint scheduling system will show in person and virtual appointments available for scheduling. When selecting in person appointments the website will inform the client of the following:

  • Only the applicant and co-applicant attend an appoint for social distancing
  • Masks must be worn to enter the offices and during the appointment
  • Temperature will be taken upon office entry and recorded
  • Notification that if they are not feeling well, appointments should be rescheduled

This information is also provided in the reminder text when the client checks in for their appointment.

If clients do not comply with the guidelines, or they are unwell upon arrival, they will be asked to reschedule the appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: AHS observes all Indiana State Holidays, and as such will not be open during these state holidays.
